[Dodge City, KS; Feb. 25, 2021] –Trinity Manor Care Center has been awarded FIVE STARS for quality care and services by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Nursing homes (and skilled care facilities) must meet certain requirements set by Congress. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have entered into an agreement with State governments to complete routine health inspections and to investigate complaints about nursing home care. A quality ranking system has been developed by CMS to help provide insights for consumers that are searching for short or long-term care. Health inspections, as well as staffing, and quality measures, contribute to the overall rating of each facility.
Mali Swann, Executive Director for Trinity Manor stated, “We have worked diligently to achieve this five-star ranking and this occurred during a national pandemic – that speaks volumes about our team!” Mali added, “I am proud and humbled that we are now ranked among the top in the nation.”
According to the CMS website (02.25.2021), skilled nursing facilities average 8 deficiencies. According to recent data, Trinity has the least number of deficiencies in the area and is thrilled to reflect results at 50% less than the national average.
